A Golden Retriever saves its owner from freezing to death
In 2016, on a snowy New Year's Eve in Michigan, a man named Bob was lying in bed watching football at home. During the commercial, Bob decided to go out to get more firewood.
He thought he would go out and come back real quick, so he only put on a thin set of clothes and slippers to go outside. But unfortunately, Bob slipped, fell outside, and broke his neck.
He was stuck in the snow at -24 degrees Celsius. Bob was screaming for help. But the nearest neighbor was at least a quarter mile from Bob's house and couldn't hear him.
Luckily, Bob’s dog Kelsey (a Golden Retriever) ran to his aid. It was 10:30 p.m., and she stayed by her owner's side until morning.
Kelsey lay on Bob's chest to keep him warm, licking his hands and face to keep him awake in the cold of the night. Kelsey even barked all morning until someone came. Bob was then taken to the hospital to be treated for a broken neck and hypothermia.
Cat saves his disabled owner
On a Thursday in 2006, the police 911 line received an urgent call from Gary Rosheisen's apartment. But there was no sound on the other end of the line. The police called back but no one picked up the phone. So Officer Patrick Daugherty was sent to check on the situation.
When Officer Daugherty arrived, he found Gary's cat (Tommy) sitting beside the phone on the living room floor. Looking around, the officer discovered that the owner of the house - Gary Rosheisen had fallen out of his wheelchair and was unable to get up. Gary was not wearing a medical-alert collar, and he also fell too far from the phone to call for help. Luckily, Gary trained his cat Tommy to call 911 in an emergency.

The pig saves the owner has a heart attack
Mrs. Jo Ann Altman, unfortunately, suffered a heart attack and fell to the floor while her husband was away. Her life could have been in danger without the sudden help from Lulu the pig.
Lulu "stuffed" her 150-pound body through the dog door. Her stomach even hurt from trying to force herself through the small door. After that, Lulu somehow opened the fence gate, ran out, and lay down in the middle of the road. Finally, a good Samaritan stopped to check on her.
At that moment, Lulu quickly led him to Mrs. Altsman's place to call for help. The doctors who operated on Altsman's heart later told her that she would have lost her life if she had been 15 minutes late to the hospital.
After that, Mrs. Altsman's family never ate pork again.
