The incident drew attention after videos surfaced showing a sparsely attended gig at the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where Quavo performed in a largely empty space.

Quavo has many followers on Instagram, so fans wondered why his concert had few attendees.

One theory claimed Chris Brown caused the low turnout.

A viral video accused Chris Brown of being involved, with someone saying, "Hey Chris Brown, are you serious? I think you had something to do with this. No one came to Quavo's show today. Come on, Chris Brown."

This theory insinuated that Chris Brown purchased all the tickets to Quavo's concert as a result of their rumored 'beef'.

He went on Instagram, posted a picture supposedly taken at the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater, and wrote a caption that suggested he had something to say about the situation: "Oh, things are changing now. I know some people must be upset. Haha."

Fans quickly pointed out the irony of 50 Cent's response, as he had previously orchestrated a similar move himself.

In the past, 50 Cent purchased 200 tickets to a live performance by Ja Rule, only to deliberately leave the seats empty.

Even if this was true, he still got PAID for those tickets, someone wrote.

If Chris Brown bought the tickets or not. It's still still a bad look on brand. And that goes up to production. And goes on up, someone said.
