Viewers stunned as creepy footage shows the ghost of a miner’s wife floating past a mother on the street, then disappearing mysteriously.
In a strange incident in Staffordshire, a woman named Jackie Batt experienced something unusual while out for a walk.
After returning home, she was shown a video that left her feeling spooked.
The footage, captured by a Ring doorbell, appeared to show a ghostly figure floating past her.

On February 4, Jackie, who is 55 years old, had just come back from her walk when her neighbor, Kerry-Anne Docherty, 46, sent her a video.
The footage showed Jackie walking by Docherty’s house.
However, it also revealed a tall woman dressed in clothing from the 1940s walking in the opposite direction.
What was even more startling was that this woman seemed to vanish into thin air.
Jackie was shocked. She had not seen anyone else while walking.
When her neighbor suggested that the figure might just be a glitch in the video, Jackie insisted she only saw a man.
This led her to believe that the figure was something more mysterious.

Jackie speculated that the figure could be the ghost of a miner’s wife.
She explained that the 1940s-built neighborhood for miners supported her theory.
“The building where we live was built in the 1940s for the miners at the time. I can only assume it is a miner’s wife.”
Jackie shared her thoughts with others, stating, “I can only assume it’s a lady dressed in 40s clothing.”
She also mentioned that she is a believer in the supernatural and found the video to be “amazing.”
In the footage, viewers can see Jackie walking by, followed by the tall figure.
Jackie described the ghostly woman as wearing a long coat, a hat, and small wedged shoes.
The mum noted that the figure appeared to dissolve into thin air at the end of the video, which made the sighting even more eerie.
“She looks like she disappeared into thin air. She looked like she had a long coat on with a hat and little wedged shoes and it was a strange one.”
While Jackie was convinced that she saw a ghost, Kerry-Anne was more skeptical.
Although she usually checks her Ring doorbell footage for security reasons, she had never witnessed anything like this before.
Kerry-Anne admitted that she was unsure what to make of the video.
She shared the footage on Facebook, asking others for their opinions.
Kerry-Anne noted that some people thought they saw the gate behind the figure, which made it look like the woman was disappearing.
“At one point, when she’s walking past another neighbor’s house, you can see the gate through her.”
