Taylor Swift shields herself from view as she leaves New Orleans
She made a discreet exit from New Orleans after Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a devastating Super Bowl loss.
Travis Kelce’s girl friend, Taylor Swift, the pop icon was seen boarding her private jet at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport on Monday.
Taylor was hidden under umbrellas covered by a team of assistants holding them around her, ensuring she remained unseen.
Then, she was reported to have stayed in her jet on the runway for 45 minutes before taking off, heading for Nashville.
A rough night for Swift at the Super Bowl
Previously, Swift endured a tough evening at Super Bowl LIX. She faced loud boos from the crowd when shown on the jumbotron at Caesars Superdome.
She also became a target for former President Donald Trump, who mocked her on Truth Social.
“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift,” Trump wrote. “She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”
Swift had arrived at the game with friends, including rapper Ice Spice. They had hoped to witness Kelce secure a third consecutive Super Bowl victory.
Instead, the Philadelphia Eagles dominated the game, winning 40-22.
Super Bowl disappointment for Travis Kelce and the Chiefs
Kelce and the Chiefs struggled from the start, falling behind 24-0 by halftime. The team never managed to recover.
Though the Chiefs showed some life in the fourth quarter, the deficit was too large to overcome.
The Eagles secured a commanding win, never trailing at any point in the game.
After her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s loss at the Super Bowl, Taylor Swift quietly left New Orleans. Meanwhile, celebrations erupted in Philadelphia, and a championship parade is planned for Friday.
Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts also traveled to Walt Disney World, following the tradition for the game’s most valuable player.
Meanwhile, Kelce must decide on his future in the NFL. Before the Super Bowl, reports suggested he might retire if the Chiefs lost.
The team now faces an offseason of uncertainty, with Kelce’s decision looming large.
Swift, for her part, made sure to leave New Orleans without drawing further attention, avoiding the chaos surrounding the game’s aftermath.
