‘Pathetic’ streamer banned after taking ‘homeless woman’ out for dinner and leaving her with the bill
On social media, many viewers were stunned after a viral video showed a Kick streamer leaving a ‘homeless woman’ with the restaurant bill.
Kick streamer faces backlash for controversial prank
A Kick streamer has been banned after pulling a cruel stunt that left a “homeless woman” with a hefty restaurant bill.
The incident quickly went viral, sparking outrage across social media.
Streamer Dumbdumbjeez filmed himself taking a woman named Mabel, whom he claimed was homeless, out for a meal.
After eating, he pretended to retrieve his wallet from the car. Instead of returning, he left Mabel to cover the $76 bill.
The video spread rapidly, drawing criticism from viewers and social media users.
Many labeled the act as exploitative and heartless. Some called for the streamer to be permanently banned from Kick.

Kick co-founder steps in and issues a ban
Kick co-founder Bijan Tehrani responded on X, confirming that Dumbdumbjeez had been banned.
Additionally, Tehrani criticized the streamer, calling his behavior “pathetic.”
The ban followed revelations that the stunt was part of a $50,000 content-creation contest.
Tehrani made it clear that such actions have no place on the platform.
This pathetic and now banned streamer did this while trying to win a contest for $50k. I’m disappointed this happened on Kick and we’ve got $50k for this lady if anyone can connect us.

Streamer defends his actions, claims it was staged
Dumbdumbjeez later claimed the incident was “blown way out of proportion.”
He insisted Mabel was aware of the prank and agreed to participate.
“People need to understand,” he said. “Mabel knew what was going on. It wasn’t like I just abandoned her out of nowhere.”
Despite his defense, many viewers remained unconvinced. Critics argued that staging a prank at the expense of vulnerable individuals was unethical, regardless of intent.

Social media reaction
Dumbdumbjeez’s video quickly went viral and sparked debate among viewers.
One person said: social media companies should ban him and everyone who does that . let him use sms to send messages and call his friends.
A second wrote: OK, if she was in on it. Then let her speak on his defense, and show the recipt of him paying for the meal.
While a third commented: Well… he accomplished his goal. Everybody is talking about him.
Someone else sad: I can imagine this stremer now being hated
Another added: He should go to jail for theft of services.
Following the controversy, Kick executives took further action. Tehrani announced a $50,000 reward for anyone who could help locate Mabel.
Kick CEO Eddie Craven also weighed in, stating, “Heartbreaking to see. Hope we can find her quickly and she can put the money to good use.”
Ongoing concerns about Kick’s platform policies
This incident reignited concerns about Kick’s content moderation policies.

Some users criticized the platform for allowing harmful pranks in the first place. Others accused Kick of being lenient with controversial streamers.
In September, streamer Paul Denino faced backlash after staging a prank involving an alleged sex worker.
Additionally, Kick executives were criticized for their lighthearted response to the incident.
What’s next for Dumbdumbjeez?
Despite the backlash, Dumbdumbjeez appears determined to continue streaming.
He posted a video titled “The Truth,” where he maintained that the stunt was pre-planned.
He urged viewers to consider his perspective as a content creator trying to go viral.

“I’m a content creator too, just trying to make something different,” he argued.
“People watch these pranks all the time, but suddenly, when I do it, I’m the bad guy?”
While the ban currently lasts only three days, some speculate that Kick may impose stricter penalties to set an example.
The platform is under pressure to enforce stronger guidelines and improve its approach to streamer accountability.
