On social media, many viewers were stunned after a viral video showed a major tech YouTuber vowing to sell all Tesla vehicles by 2025.

A well-known tech YouTuber has announced plans to get rid of all his Tesla vehicles by the end of 2025.

This decision follows a recent controversy involving Elon Musk. A video surfaced showing Musk making a one-armed gesture that many have compared to a Nazi salute.

The incident has sparked widespread debate, with some defending Musk and others condemning his actions.

Elon Musk responds to accusations

Previously, the video was recorded during Musk’s appearance at President Trump’s inauguration on January 20.

After the footage spread online, Musk addressed the claims on his social media platform, X, formerly Twitter.

He dismissed the allegations, stating: “Frankly, they need better dirty tricks.

The ‘everyone is Hitler’ attack is sooo tired.” Despite his response, the controversy continues to grow.

On social media , Zack Nelson, the creator behind the popular tech channel @JerryRigEverything, publicly reacted to the video.

He quote-tweeted a clip of Musk’s gesture and added: “I currently own 4 different @Tesla vehicles. By the end of 2025 I will own zero @Tesla vehicles.”

Nelson, who has nearly nine million subscribers, has previously criticized Musk. He has called out Tesla’s repeated promises about autonomous driving, labeling them “fruitless autonomy claims.”

Grimes responds to pressure from social media

Musk’s former partner, singer Grimes, also faced pressure to comment on the controversy. Users on X urged her to clarify her stance on the situation.

In response, she tweeted: “To be clear, I could go talk s*** and be on a bunch of magazine covers and be a feminist hero and get clout – but it would serve no purpose. I choose my children’s wellbeing.”

One user replied: “We understand that you are unwilling to directly talk about his actions, but please denounce all the alt-right/Nazis that feel comfortable in your comments.”

This led to another statement from Grimes, in which she firmly distanced herself from extremist ideologies.

“I’m happy to denounce Nazi-ism – and the far alt-right. Would that help clear things up?” she wrote.

She added that she was still debating how to approach the situation but wanted to set the record straight.

Growing backlash against Musk

This latest controversy adds to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding Musk. While some remain loyal to the billionaire entrepreneur, others are distancing themselves.

One person said: Good luck with their awful resale value.

A second wrote: Sales are looking great this quarter

While a third commented: Me too selling all of my Teslas every single one.

Another added: Elon only owns 13% of Tesla, relax

Someone else said: Imagine buying that many pieces of junk in the first place

Another added: I still like Tesla the most, supporting Musk.

For Nelson, the decision to sell his Teslas appears to be part of a broader frustration with Musk’s actions and statements.
Whether others in the tech community follow his lead remains to be seen.
