On social media, many viewers stunned after a viral video showing YouTuber created his own fully functional Cybertruck out of trash.
A YouTuber has shocked viewers by creating a working Tesla Cybertruck entirely from scrap materials.
The DIY project is both impressive and hilarious, drawing attention from tech enthusiasts and casual fans alike.
YouTuber builds fully functional Cybertruck from scrap
On social media, Jake Carlini, a YouTube creator, wanted a Cybertruck but didn’t want to wait or spend a fortune.
Instead, he decided to build one from scratch using whatever materials he had.
“I’m gonna build my very own Cybertruck,” Carlini announced in his video. He admitted the project wouldn’t be easy but was excited to take on the challenge.
With a collection of spare parts in his shed, he set out to make his vision a reality.
“Building a Cybertruck is not gonna be easy,” he then admitted.
“I’m going to need a lot of stuff and things. Lucky for me, I had plenty of stuff lying around the shed.”
A Cybertruck made from wood, scrap metal
The footage showed Carlini’s homemade Cybertruck looks surprisingly real was seen from a distance.
However, a closer look reveals a wooden frame holding the vehicle together.
The engine came from a small electric motorcycle he had lying around. The motor was salvaged from a previous Tesla-related project.
For a touch of authenticity, he added a Tesla logo on the front and even designed McLaren-style dihedral doors.
While visually impressive, the DIY Cybertruck isn’t road-friendly. It’s slow, fragile, and frequently breaks down. At one point, Carlini even caused a minor traffic jam after getting stranded mid-road.
Despite the setbacks, he embraced the chaos and proudly showcased his work. “So I finally got my Cybertruck,” he concluded.
Social media react to the DIY Cybertruck
Carlini’s homemade Cybertruck quickly went viral on social media. While, fans quickly praised Carlini for his creativity and dedication.
However, others also suggested that his creation is not useful as it often breaks down.
One person said: This mixture of technical effort and complete uselessness is special
A second wrote: The Easter eggs, the lore, the little details, the montage, and of course, the Tesla. Beautiful.
While a third commented: Your marketing is too good. This is the first thing I’m buying off YouTube. Amazing!
Another added: That’s how Musk built them
Someone else said: I thought they were old skipbins with wheels adapted
However, Carlini isn’t the first to attempt a DIY Cybertruck. Others have built their own versions using different materials.
Previously, one notable project involved a full wooden Cybertruck. It gained so much attention that Elon Musk himself reposted it after the creator shared their work.
