The world’s richest man shared this concise prophecy with his 219 million followers on X, previously known as Twitter.

He wrote: “low birth rates will end civilization.”

Musk’s prophecy follows alarming fertility decline across America.

Musk’s warning comes in the wake of alarming statistics about the decline in fertility rates in the United States. According to reports, fertility rates in all 50 states have hit record lows.

Currently, the U.S. birth rate stands at just 54.5 births per 1,000 women, a significant drop from 112.9 per 1,000 in 1959, showing a dramatic decline.
