JoJo Siwa ended her relationship on Celebrity Big Brother after revealing she no longer identifies as a lesbian, leaving partner upset.
JoJo Siwa has made headlines after ending her relationship with partner Kath Ebbs.
This decision came after Siwa realized her feelings about her sexuality while participating in “Celebrity Big Brother UK.”
The breakup has sparked discussions about identity and relationships.
Siwa and Ebbs confirmed their relationship early.
Siwa, a well-known figure from “Dance Moms,” and Ebbs, who identifies as non-binary, confirmed their relationship in January.
Siwa expressed happiness about their bond, stating it was a mature and beautiful relationship. She felt that being with Ebbs taught her a lot about love and respect.

However, during her time on the reality show, Siwa’s feelings began to change.
While filming, she started to develop a connection with Chris Hughes, a star from “Love Island UK.” This new friendship included playful moments like cuddling and cheek kisses, which raised eyebrows among viewers.

After the show’s afterparty, Ebbs revealed in a TikTok video that Siwa had ended their relationship.
She explained how she had traveled from afar to support Siwa during the competition. Instead of being welcomed, she felt devastated to be dumped at the afterparty.
Ebbs described the experience as shocking and humiliating. They shared that Siwa expressed “confused feelings” and mentioned she no longer saw a future with Ebbs.
“I flew across the world to support and be there and hold that person in whatever they would be experiencing, leaving such a wild experience,” Ebbs said.
“Instead, I was dumped at the afterparty, with Chris in the next room. Which is f—ing crazy to say out loud.”

Ebbs opened up about their emotional turmoil following the split.
They described the breakup as one of the most intense and painful experiences in their adult life.
Feeling subhuman and embarrassed, Ebbs shared their hurt over the way Siwa handled the situation.
In their video, Ebbs noted that viewers witnessed what they called emotional cheating and boundary crossing.
They felt that the events shown on television were real and not staged. This revelation added to their feelings of betrayal.

“Which has honestly been … so shocking, that I feel kind of subhuman right now. I feel incredibly humiliated and I feel a bit embarrassed,” Ebbs added, calling the breakup “one of the most [crazy], intense, awful, horrific experiences I’ve ever probably gone through in my adult life.”
“Everything [the viewers] saw transpire — the emotional cheating, the over-crossing of boundaries, and the questioning of our relationship on national TV — was not fabricated,” Ebbs stated.
“It took that person less than an hour to follow through,” Ebbs continued of Siwa.
“In terms of Mr. Christopher, I don’t know. I have opinions, [but] I’m not gonna say them now. In terms of their relationship, that’s their journey, enjoy.”
“I don’t know what the future of this situation holds,” they added. “But, yeah. [It’s] pretty, pretty, pretty brutal.”
During her time in the “Big Brother” house, Siwa experienced a significant realization about her sexual orientation.
She had always identified as a lesbian but began to see herself differently.
In conversation with a fellow contestant, she shared, “I think being here, I’ve realized, ‘Oh no, I’m not a lesbian, I’m queer.’”
She expressed excitement about identifying as queer, saying, “I think that’s really cool. I’m switching letters!” This openness about her identity is a positive step in her journey.

Chris Hughes and JoJo develop a friendship.
Chris Hughes has defended his relationship with Siwa, stating that they were just having fun.
“We’re just messing around—we’re being kids,” the British reality star said. “JoJo was like a pure rock to me. She was someone I can have fun with.”
“From a friendship point of view, yeah, of course I love her,” he continued. “If I want to spend time with a person who makes me feel like I’m at home, makes me feel happy and forget that we’re filming a TV show, we’re having fun, I’ll do that—because that’s very normal.
It was just a friendship, which is only going to get stronger.”
Siwa shared her feelings for Hughes on the show, calling him a “one-of-a-kind gentleman.” She expressed how much he meant to her and how their friendship grew throughout their time together.
Siwa told Hughes during the episode, “Christopher, the love that I’ve gained for you in this building is insane.
You’re a one-of-a-kind gentleman, somebody who is so easy to love, so easy to laugh with. I really, really believe you are a vital part of my life that I didn’t know I was missing.”
