O’Donnell shared, “I was never someone who thought I would move to another country. But I decided it was the best choice for myself and my 12-year-old child.”

She added that while she is happy in her new life, she misses her other children and friends back in America.

O’Donnell reports significant improvement in mental health.

Since moving to Ireland, O’Donnell has noticed a significant improvement in her mental health.

She mentioned feeling healthier and sleeping better without the stress of the political situation in the U.S.

In another video, she reflected on how her mental well-being has benefited from the change in environment.

“I feel healthier [and] I’m sleeping better without the stress and anxiety,” she said.

The comedian hopes that one day, when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights in America, she and her family might consider returning.
