Allman, who lives in Los Angeles, is determined to keep impersonating Donald Trump even in the face of hostility. He insists he won’t be “canceled” or silenced.

His public appearances, especially in politically charged environments, have drawn both praise and backlash.

While he claims to have been assaulted, he remains committed to his mission of spreading laughter.

“I bring joy to people,” he says. “They shake my hand, take photos, and laugh when they see me in the suit.”

He put faith over body armor protection

Despite experiencing violence, Allman refuses to wear bulletproof or stab-resistant gear.

Instead, he puts his trust in divine protection. “I don’t wear vests. I believe in God’s protection,” he affirms.

Faith gives him courage, even as he undergoes dialysis treatment three times a week due to kidney failure.

Even with his health challenges, Allman shows no signs of slowing down.

“Most people want to be happy, and I bring happiness to most of them,” he said.

“And I feel when in the suit and tie, the majority of people are happy to see me, they laugh, smile or want photos.

“They laugh, they shake my hand.”

A presence in entertainment and political satire

Aside from public appearances, Allman stars in “American Comedy”, a political satire currently streaming on Amazon Prime.

Produced by Alex Ayzin, the film also features Eric Roberts and Dan Lauria of “The Wonder Years” fame.

The movie takes aim at “woke” culture and offers a comedic take on political division in America.

For Allman, comedy is a vital outlet. “Laughter gives me strength,” he says. “It’s what keeps me going, especially at my age.”

Allman’s impersonation of Trump often draws mixed reactions in Los Angeles.

While many approach him with laughter or curiosity, others react with anger.

He recalls being punched near Trump’s vandalized star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during the president’s first term.

Still, Allman brushes off the hostility. “Only a couple of incidents ever happened,” he says. “Most people stare, laugh, or want a photo. It’s generally positive.”

Hollywood’s cold shoulder toward Trump’s image

According to Allman, many in the entertainment industry remain firmly against Trump, focusing more on his personality than his policies.

He believes that no matter what the former president accomplishes, parts of Hollywood will never accept him.

“There’s a deep cultural divide,” Allman explains. “A lot of people just won’t budge when it comes to Trump.”

Interestingly, Allman claims that public opinion around Trump is shifting.

He notes that more people in California, including Los Angeles, seem to be warming up to the former president, especially now that he’s back in office.

“People seem more relaxed. There’s a different energy,” he observes. “It feels like things are settling down for some.”

A U.S. Sun poll shows most voters believe he’s keeping campaign promises, with 25% saying he fully delivered.

Allman sees his work as an extension of this support, using comedy and character work to connect with everyday people and promote his views.

His portrayal may spark controversy, but his message remains simple: make people smile and stand by your beliefs.
