The relationship between Diddy and Trump
Combs and Trump’s past ties drew attention. In a 2015 Washington Post interview, Diddy praised Trump, then a 2016 GOP candidate: “Donald Trump is a friend of mine, and he works very hard.”
By 2017, however, Combs dismissed Trump’s impact on the Black community as ineffective and harmful.
Diddy admitted at the time: “I think that to be honest, we don’t really give a f*** about Trump, because [black people are] in the same f*****-up position. So that’s not what we’re on. The tomfoolery that’s going on in D.C., that’s just regular everyday business to Black folks. That’s not surprising.”

Despite the allegations, defense attorneys argue that the allegations are false and that Combs never engaged in sex trafficking.
They admit some violent behavior but deny criminal racketeering claims.
Combs himself denies all allegations leveled against him in the ongoing trial.
