Notably, this $250,000 submarine is capable of launching itself out of the water.

The submarine’s operational video has garnered over 10.1 million views.

Additionally, it also showcased the unique piloting perspective and how the submarine submerges.

How the submarine dives

To begin the diving process, the creator activates the power to start the CO2 scrubber system.

He explains, “The first thing we’re going to want to do is get this power turned on, because we want this CO2 scrubber running.”

With night vision red lights illuminated, he monitors the CO2 meter and checks oxygen levels.

He aims for a flow rate of around 400 milliliters per minute.

Next, he ensures the hatch is sealed with clamps and proceeds to flood the front and main ballast tanks.

These compartments are filled with water to provide stability, reduce stress, and enhance propulsion.

“You can see the water coming up right there,” he notes.

Following this, the aft tank at the rear is also flooded. “Here comes the water,” he remarked.

He also indicatied that once the water reaches the level of the hatches, the periscopes are turned off.

“We are underwater – and that’s how you do it, guys,” he concludes, demonstrating the successful dive.

The video quickly went viral and sparked debate on social media.

In the comments section, many users expressed their shock about his invention. Others were excited to learn how to drive the submarine.

One person said: One thing, never go to Denmark and tell you build a submarine by yourself.

A second wrote: It’s not controlled by a GameCube controller… I’d trust to take it to the titanic

While a thirc commented: More safety checks than the titan. You’re practically ready for a trip to see the titanic.

Another added: How did you mange to make this look as old as possible.
