Elon Musk shares his perspective on the recent UFO sightings in the US, offering insights into what might be causing them.
In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk shared his views on the UFO sightings reported across the United States.
The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla expressed skepticism about the idea that these unidentified flying objects are evidence of extraterrestrial life.
Instead, Musk believes they are likely linked to classified government projects.
Musk stated that SpaceX has found no proof of aliens.
He noted, “There’s a lot we don’t know about our existence and the universe.”
He emphasized the many questions humanity has, such as where we come from and whether aliens exist.
Despite this curiosity, Musk remains unconvinced that UFO sightings indicate alien activity.
“There’s a lot we don’t know,” Musk admitted about the existence of humanity and the universe.
“Where did we come from? Where are the aliens?”
One of MMusks main points was about the number of satellites currently in orbit.
He mentioned that there are over 6,000 satellites, particularly through SpaceX’s Starlink program, yet none have ever needed to maneuver around an alien spacecraft.
This, he argues, suggests that what people are seeing in the sky may not be alien in nature.
Elon Musk reveals truth behind UFO sightings in the US
During the interview, Carlson raised the issue of military reports involving unidentified objects that the US military cannot explain.
Musk responded by saying that there were indeed unidentified flying objects.
However, many of these sightings could be attributed to secret government programs.
He suggested that the military might be testing new aircraft or weapons that are classified.
“Well, unidentified flying objects are one thing, but there are always a bunch of classified programs that are underway,” Musk shared.
According to Musk, these projects are so secretive that even top officials might not be aware of them.
Musk pointed out that when a pilot reports seeing something unusual, they often label it as a UFO.
However, he believes it might simply be a new type of weapon or aircraft undergoing tests.
He stated, “Some pilot sees something moving fast and says, ‘Hey, I saw a UFO!’ but it could be a new weapons program.”
Elon Musk promised to share aliene evidence if he found it
Musk expressed skepticism about UFOs being alien craft.
However, he promised that if he ever found solid evidence of extraterrestrial life, he would share it immediately.
“The split second I see any evidence of aliens, I will post it on social media,” he said.
Last year, Musk expressed a more playful attitude about aliens.
He mentioned that he hoped aliens existed and, importantly, that they would be friendly.
However, he does not believe that the government is hiding evidence of alien life from the public.
He suggested that if the government did know about aliens, they might use that information to justify increased military funding.
US government investigates UFO sightings and unidentified aerial phenomena
In 2023, there were no confirmed alien sightings reported by service members.
Yet, Congress is pushing for further investigations into UFO sightings, some going back to World War II.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence has reviewed many military encounters with unidentified aerial phenomena, which is the official term for UFOs.
Of the 366 reported sightings assessed, some were identified as drones, others as balloons, and a few were attributed to atmospheric clutter.
The Pentagon has created a portal for military personnel to report UFO sightings.
This indicates a more open approach to understanding these incidents.
Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has taken a keen interest in UFO investigations and has asked for updates from the Pentagon, likely after the Nov. 5 election.
She wants to know how many unidentified aerial phenomena have been analyzed and what conclusions have been drawn.
