The YouTuber embarks on an unusual challenge

Norme, who has over a million subscribers on his YouTube channel, is known for taking on unusual challenges.

In the past, he has done things like staying awake for 12 days straight and not blinking for over two hours.

Now, he decided to push his limits even further by isolating himself in a dark room without any light at all.

Living alone in the darkness negatively impacts the man

Around the 22nd day, Norme’s behavior raised concerns among his viewers.

In a clip circulated on social media, he appeared to be rocking back and forth and even nibbling on what looked like a door.

In this highly anticipated reveal, he was escorted outside by a friend.

Norme wrapped a towel around his face to shield his eyes from the sunlight.

When the towel was removed, Norme looked up at the sky and screamed in relief. His reaction was intense.

He jumped up and down, overwhelmed by the brightness. “That f**king hurt,” he exclaimed to the camera.

When asked if the sunlight felt healing, he replied, “No, it’s like a thousand knives to my f**king eyes.”

His response showed just how shocking the sunlight was after a month in darkness.

Social media reaction

Norme’s dramatic reaction drew a lot of attention. Some viewers found it entertaining, while others thought he was overreacting.

Impressive dedication, but was staying in the dark really the best way to appreciate the beauty of sunlight? One user said.

He should go in for 365 days, the second user commented.

Living in the dark for so long and when finally the day has come… you still can’t see. Must be pretty frustrating, the third user said.

I don’t really see how it would be that bad, you’d still be able to go on your phone, watch tv and gaming on the laptop, providing the room is completely dark without the light on.

So sitting in the dark for 30 days watching movies, sounds fine to me, another wrote.
