Kristin’s Method for Keeping Kids Occupied on Flights

Kristin Miller, a mother from Dallas, U.S., recently shared her “genius” method on TikTok for keeping her 5-year-old daughter and toddler son entertained during flights. She posted a video showing her children happily munching on treats from a compartmented snack pack. Kristin called it a “game changer” and recommended that other parents bring a snack pack for themselves and their kids on their next flight.
Colorful and Appealing Snacks in a Convenient Snack Pack

The snack box Kristin used contains eight removable compartments, each filled with either a savory or sweet treat like tortilla chips, nut mix, turkey sticks, Cheez-It crackers, cinnamon sugar almonds, M&Ms, popcorn, and peanut butter sandwich crackers. Another tray contained various sweets and chocolates, including granola bars, animal crackers, Starburst candies, and strawberry fruit roll-ups. Each snack is ready for her children to pick as they wish during the flight.
Community Response: Benefits and Concerns
While many people praised Kristin’s idea as a great way to keep kids busy, some parents expressed concerns about her snack choices, especially those containing nuts. Some warned that nut products could pose a risk to passengers with severe nut allergies. Additionally, others criticized the selection of snacks, arguing that too many sugary treats might make kids hyperactive.
