This unique white bat is also known as the Honduran white bat

The scientific name of this bat is Ectophylla alba, and it is also the only representative of the genus Ectophylla. It has a striking appearance, white cilia, and a small body with a total length of only 3.7 cm-4.7 cm.

It inhabits tropical rainforests in northern Nicaragua, eastern Costa Rica, western Panama, and eastern Honduras.
