Wednesday, 26/04/2023, 17:01 (GMT+7)

Tamrat Yemane, 28, and Tomas Teka Alemu, 18, began their acrobatic careers in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The duo, who started at the age of 8 and 5, now travel the world to showcase their gravity-defying feats.

In one of their most impressive feats, the duo was captured on video as Tamrat launched himself into a mid-air jump at dizzying speed, flipping and spinning Tomas through the air using only the power of his legs. In a video, the pair can be seen wearing shorts and t-shirts in a gym.

Tamrat lies on a specially designed device that lifts his hips at the necessary angle.

He continuously flips and twists Tomas, who has a smaller build, only using the strength of his legs in perfectly choreographed moves.

Sometimes, the duo holds hands to regain balance during their mesmerizing performances.

The clip then transitions to a series of their other works, including costume fittings and live performances in front of an audience.

Tomas and Tamart successfully set a world record for consecutive backflips in 2013. Their goal was to achieve 25 rotations before stopping at 31.

Their initial duo act was welcomed as members of the African Mother troupe in their Circus of the Senses performance.

Since then, their troupe has continued to tour at the New Victory Theater in New York as well as the Unicorn Theatre in London."
