Tiger Woods tried to keep his relationship with Vanessa Trump private, according to the Daily Mail. On Sunday, he announced it after rumors spread at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach.
Vanessa’s daughter Kai (17), Woods’ son Charlie (16), and daughter Sam (17) attend the school. A source said, “He knew it would be big news and didn’t love it.”
“Tiger dating a Trump was bound to make headlines, which he wanted to avoid,” the source added. The Benjamin School is a private institution with a $38,595 annual tuition for grades 9-12.
Woods and Vanessa’s Love Was Kept Private
Woods (49) and Vanessa (47) reportedly avoided going out in public together and refrained from discussing their relationship with friends to maintain their privacy.
“They just quietly did their thing,” the source added. “But Tiger isn’t one to get kissy or handsy in public anyway.”
On Sunday, Woods made their relationship official on social media, sharing photos with Vanessa and asking for privacy from the public.
“Love is in the air, and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time, we would appreciate privacy from all those close to our hearts,” Woods posted across his social media platforms.

Woods and Vanessa’s Past Relationships
Vanessa married Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018, and they share five children. She and her daughter Kai, who committed to the University of Miami’s golf team last summer, recently attended various events supporting Woods, including the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines, California, on February 16.
Woods was at the center of a widely publicized infidelity scandal involving his ex-wife, Swedish model Elin Nordegren, which led to their 2010 divorce after six years of marriage.
Currently, the 15-time major champion is recovering from surgery to repair a ruptured left Achilles tendon earlier this month.
