A massive sea turtle was entangled in some tree roots near the water's edge, and they initially thought she was dead. However, upon closer inspection, they found that she was still alive but had given up hope.
Despite the turtle being trapped there for some time and likely perishing, Escobar decided to approach and touch her. To his surprise, the turtle let out a sigh and started moving her head.
This prompted Escobar to take action.
Escobar used a knife to cut the root that trapped the turtle until it was weak enough to be broken, ultimately freeing her.
After a brief rest on the shore, the turtle swam away energetically, as if celebrating her newfound freedom.
Escobar believes that the turtle had been trapped while attempting to lay her eggs and is happy to have helped her.
Thanks to his actions, the turtle can now continue to lay eggs, ensuring that future generations will thrive. Escobar feels elated to have played a role in saving her life.
