In a Reddit post by u/kjrjk, a suburban resident located just south of Nashville documented the unsettling moment when they observed a gathering of up to 20 vultures on their neighbor's roof.
The caption reads: "At least 20 vultures congregated on my neighbor's roof in the middle of the suburbs."
According to Newsweek, the Redditor said: "It was pretty foreboding, especially since I had never seen so many vultures gathered in one place before."
"What added to the creepy feeling was that it was already a stormy day, which set a bit of a dark mood. Even though I don't believe in bad omens or anything like that, seeing the vultures did make me pause for a second. My mind was racing with the dark reasons they could be there."
The Redditor has been inundated with various theories from fellow users speculating about what might happen with "at least 20 vultures" in the house.

One person said: When I was a kid, I had some Aunts and Uncles that lived way out in the country and we would occasionally go and visit. One time we were there, I happened to notice a lot of vultures in their backyard, sitting on top of their barn, and all around the trees on the property. I asked my Uncle why so many vultures, and turns out he had gone hunting the day or so before, and when he was done processing the deer he had gotten (he knew how to dress and process the meat), he'd throw the carcass out in the fields behind his house and let the coyotes and vultures have the rest.
