People are left stunned by the Tesla Cybertruck owner’s one-of-a-kind rust wrap on the car, drawing widespread attention and reactions.
Tesla Cybertruck gained attention after debuting
After debuting, the Tesla Cybertruck not only gained attention for its wildly varying styling but also for bringing a touch of luxury.
The Tesla Cybertruck, whether seen in its bare metal form or wrapped in vinyl, turns heads and makes people want to own it.
For those who aren’t completely sold on the truck’s design, a full vehicle wrap can genuinely improve its look.
For owners who install a wrap, it can better represent their personal style, which is challenging to achieve with a vehicle that offers few external customization options.
However, wrapping the Tesla Cybertruck in metal or vinyl is quite typical.
What truly captured attention was a unique Cybertruck wrapped in rust, which went viral on social media.
In a viral video, viewers were stunned after first looking at the Tesla Cybetruck
In this video shared by YouTube channel WhipAddict, we get our first look at a rust wrap applied to Tesla’s newest model.
The video has the caption: “Ty of @luxeconcepts705 created and wrapped this new Tesla Cybertruck Cyber Beast in this Rusted Patina wrap for Rapper T.I.! What do you think? We also get to see how you tint the biggest production windshield for a truck with a deep dashboard! lol”.
While the rust look doesn’t work on every car (not so crazy about this BMW i8 that went viral several years ago for instance) the design and wrap featured here looks pretty sweet on Tesla’s futuristic-themed EV.
According to WhipAddict, the wrap was created and installed by Luxe Concepts for the rapper T.I. who has shown off his Cybertruck previously. In the video, we see the installation process at several stages and we also get to see a heavy window tint applied to that massive windshield.
Rust wraps aren’t necessarily a new phenomenon, but the Cybertruck wears it surprisingly well.
Obviously, like the Cybertruck itself, this wrap won’t appeal to everyone. But several members of the InsideEVs team are into it.
The video quickly went viral on social media and left viewers stunned.
One person said: The only car in the world that you can put a rust wrap on and it looks
A second wrote: A set of wheels would really bring this Cyber truck to life
While a third commented: Damn that’s the sexiest wrap I’ve seen so far for the CT. Great job!
Someone else said: At first I thought it was ugly. After a minute I liked it. After another minute I like it even more.
Another added: I like it. I’m thinking. They can add crackling rusted sounds like a rusted factory. If you heard the stretching steel sound when he was turning the tire around
I can’t seem to get the smile off my face…! How can the same thing be attractive and repulsive at the same time?! Someone else said.
Previously, Tesla Cybertruck driver stunned after brand new Cybertruck breaks down after washing
On social media, a Tesla Cybertruck owner, who goes by @captain.ad, shared a video on Tiktok, revealing that his nearly new vehicle broke down after a car wash.
The owner claimed that the Cybertruck stopped functioning after he washed sand off it at a car wash following a beach trip.
The Cybertruck owner explained that he attempted to reset the vehicle, but it remained unresponsive.
Although it appeared drivable, the lack of a working display or speedometer rendered it unfit for the road.
The incident sparked a wave of reactions online. In the comment section, many Cybertruck owners expressed concerns over the vehicle’s reliability.
While some suggested that Tesla should prioritize potential solutions during its production.
