A robot made by Agility Robotics, named 'Digit', collapsed after working continuously for 20 hours during an exhibition in Chicago, Illinois.
The video of the fallen robot went viral on social media. The 'Digit' robot is specifically designed for use in warehouses and distribution centers to perform tasks safely in spaces designed for people.
The company claimed that the robot had achieved a 99% success rate during the 20-hour live demos, although it did take a few falls.
Robots are designed to perform repetitive tasks that are dangerous or tedious for humans.
However, like any machine, robots require proper maintenance and rest to avoid breakdowns, as was the case with the collapsed 'Digit' robot in the viral video.
