Despite being born with only one eye and nostril, the two-year-old cat shows an unwavering zest for life.
The shelter staff described Eggbert as a darling creature that enjoys headbutting, having his chin scratched, and following people around.

Ohioan Holly Starr adopted Eggbert from the Fairfield Area Humane Society, where the two-year-old feline was looking for a forever home.

Eggbert was born without an eye and nostril but has an unyielding love for life. According to the staff at the Fairfield Area Humane Society, Eggbert enjoys headbutts, getting his chin scratched, and following people around.

Starr, who also adopted another cat named Lark from the same shelter, said to Newsweek that Eggbert and Lark would be living together.

The Fairfield Area Humane Society hopes that the attention Eggbert has received will also bring awareness to other animals with unique needs who are seeking loving homes where they can receive affection and a safe environment.
