Vigneault, a father of three, had been streaming for 22 hours straight in an effort to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish foundation.

During the livestream, which took place on February 19, 2017, Vigneault took a break for a cigarette around 3:30 am local time.

However, he never returned to complete the remaining two hours of the stream.

Authorities found the streamer suddenly died at home

Fans initially thought Brian Vigneault had fallen asleep during the livestream.

Their concern grew when a friend messaged him on Discord the next day.

The response came from the Virginia Beach Police Department, who were investigating his sudden death.

Throughout his streaming career, Vigneault had raised over $10,917.20 for various veterans and children’s charity organizations.

Following his passing, Vigneault’s Twitch account was transformed into a memorial channel where fans could pay tribute to his memory.
