Even if your clothes still smell great, after a long day they can still accumulate tons of bacteria that can be harmful to your skin and your health.

Bacteria in clothes cause body acne

If you wear the same clothes consecutively for 2 days, accumulated sweat and bacteria on dirty clothes can transfer onto hair-bearing areas of the body, leading to clogged pores. This is the reason that causes body acne.

Sweat and dead skin cells can mix and result in irritation and acne formation. Acne can develop in various body parts, such as the back, thighs, and even buttocks.

Although doing laundry on a daily basis may appear tiring, it is worth considering. When you wear the same clothes consecutively for 2 days, you may face issues with acne on your back or chest.

You can get germs from other people

If you wear the same clothes consecutively for 2 days, you expose yourself to your own body oils and bacteria throughout the day, which is one matter. Additionally, you are also surrounded by the bacteria of others.

You may develop a rash if you wear the same clothes consecutively for 2 days.

If you notice itchy rashes on your skin,  you should change clothes more often.  Clothes are in close contact with the skin, and if dirty clothes rub, the oil and bacteria left in the fabric can irritate the skin.

However, skin irritation can vary depending on the type of fabric. But one thing is for sure, fibers of any kind can irritate your skin if you wear the same clothes consecutively for 2 days or if you don't change your clothes frequently
