An 18-year-old woman has opened up about her relationship with a man 42 years her senior, revealing how their love story began under unusual circumstances.
Nikeisha Lightfoot, who is 18, met her partner Dimitrios Fotis, 60, when he delivered a kebab to her door in 2022.
A chance encounter turns into Love
The couple, Nikeisha and Dimitrios first connected when he was working as a delivery driver and brought her a takeaway meal.
The two instantly bonded, and their relationship has since flourished despite facing criticism for their age difference.
Nikeisha, an entrepreneur, emphasizes that their love transcends age.
“We connected immediately,” Nikeisha shared. “There’s no catch to it; we just fell for each other.”

Nikeisha, who was working two jobs—one as a cleaner and the other at a Chinese restaurant—often ordered late-night takeaways.

“I used to ask him to call me when he arrived because it was late and I had younger siblings,” Nikeisha explained. “We kept bumping into each other in the street, and one day, I saw him waiting outside a local shop.”
On that day, Nikeisha was unwell and in her pajamas when Dimitrios suggested she try lemon tea to feel better.
She initially struggled to make the tea correctly, leading her to text Dimitrios for help.
Their conversation moved from text messages to WhatsApp, and they soon decided to get to know each other better.
