The fire broke out at approximately 3:40 PM on November 28 at a home located on Weston Road.

According to reports, the family was frying a turkey when the garage caught fire.

The flames quickly spread to the main part of the house, leading to a massive blaze that firefighters struggled to control.

The Weston Volunteer Fire Department shared on social media that an investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the fire.

However, preliminary findings suggest that the attempt to fry the turkey was the main source of the flames.

Firefighters faced numerous challenges while battling the fire.

Upon arrival, they found the garage completely engulfed, which made it difficult to attack the flames effectively.

Chief John Pokorny of the Weston Volunteer Fire Department reported that a significant portion of the house was already on fire when they arrived.

Compounding the situation, a vehicle accidentally drove over a water supply hose, which damaged the line.

This incident temporarily halted the flow of water needed to fight the fire.

Firefighters had to work for 16 long hours to bring the blaze under control, enduring extreme heat and structural collapses within the building.

“When we arrived, the whole garage end of the house was on fire – like a third of the house,” Weston Volunteer Fire Department Chief John Pokorny told the outlet.

“You get pieces of debris and it’s burning underneath and the water from the top just doesn’t get to it.”

The mansion suffered significant damage from the fire.

The fire caused extensive damage, making the luxurious mansion, spanning 10,000 square feet, uninhabitable.

Photographs show the home reduced to rubble, with few walls standing amidst the charred debris.

The fire not only destroyed the garage but also extended through broken windows, affecting large areas of the house.

No one was injured during the incident, as all 25 guests present for the holiday managed to escape safely.

This fortunate outcome is a relief, given the severity of the fire.

In her statement, she thanked various organizations, including the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army, for their support during this challenging time.
