The post read: “It was getting late and I was hungry so I placed an order from a place 5 mies away. To make up for the drive, I made sure to tip $12. After an hour goes by, I see my dasher is waiting in a spot. I was a bit confused, until I opened our chat and saw he was demanding I “pay” him to actually deliver it. I reported and canceled the order. I’m a dasher as well, so I know he had the option to decline. Isn’t $12 good for a tip? Why’s he asking for more? ”

In the post, the customer had placed an order from a restaurant located five miles away and decided to tip $12 to compensate for the drive. However, after an hour had passed, they noticed that their delivery driver, referred to as “Ryan,” was still stationary.
