Steven’s explanation: A fun way to end his Taco Bell career
Steven explained that he had worked his last shift after submitting his two weeks’ notice. He and his colleagues had finished their tasks and cleaned the store before Steven decided to have a little fun.
He clarified that the water was made safe with ice to avoid any harm. ‘That water is normally pretty hot, so we had to throw some ice in there. I’m not trying to jump in a burning bath and put my life on the line. ‘I hadn’t started the shift thinking I was going to jump in the sink that night, I just thought “Why not have some fun at the end?” We cleaned up afterwards anyway.
‘Luckily I had a spare change of clothes in my car.
‘I got quite a few negative comments from people saying I was going to be fired. I’m usually the positive guy so I’m not used to that.’
Steven’s plans after Taco Bell: Gaming on twitch
Now, Steven is shifting his focus to full-time gaming. He plans to grow his Twitch channel, where he plays Call of Duty, and currently has over 1,000 subscribers.
Despite the challenges of growing on Twitch, Steven is excited to dedicate more time to gaming.
Steven acknowledged that while his viral video brought in millions of views, not all of those viewers are likely to follow his gaming career.
However, he was pleased to see his Twitch follower count double overnight, and he remains determined to make gaming his full-time focus.
