On February 11, 2025, Daniel McCartney, an agent at 33 & West, announced via Instagram that he could no longer represent Kanye.

McCartney stated that Kanye’s recent remarks were harmful and hateful, which the agency could not support.

“Effective immediately, I am no longer representing YE (F/K/A Kanye West) due to his recent harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33 & West can stand for,’ McCartney said.

“Peace and love to all.”

The agency’s choice to part ways with Kanye was met with mixed reactions online, with many people feeling it was a long-overdue decision.
