According to The Atlantic, Goldberg received detailed information about the airstrikes two hours before they took place.
The message contained specifics on weapons, targets, and timing. The accidental leak reportedly came from White House National Security Advisor Michael Waltz.
Goldberg shared his concerns in an interview with PBS.
He stated, “If they were going to pick an errant phone number, at least it wasn’t someone who supported the Houthis. This could have endangered American service members.”
Musk dismisses the leak with a joke
Elon Musk, a special government employee and head of the Department of Government Efficiency, responded to the controversy.
