A reality TV star joins the list of tourists bitten by a King Guard horse after ignoring clear warning signs in London.
A reality TV star, Scheana Shay, recently experienced an unexpected incident while visiting London.
The star of “Vanderpump Rules” was bitten by a King’s Guard horse after she ignored warning signs.
This event has drawn attention on social media as many tourists have also gotten bitten before.
Reality TV star gets bitten by King Guard horse over warning ignorance
This incident occurred when she got too close to the horse outside Buckingham Palace.
During Scheana Shay’s trip to London in July, a King’s Guard horse tried to bite her.
The Vanderpump Rules star, aged 39, got too close to the horse outside Buckingham Palace.
A sign warned: ‘Horses may kick or bite — Don’t touch the horse.’
Despite warning signs about biting or kicking, Scheana approached the horse for a photo.
The horse then nipped at her arm.
Scheana’s encounter with the horse was captured in a TikTok video, showing her shocked reaction as the horse nipped at her.
In the video, Scheana walked up to the dark brown horse and then turned back toward the camera.
Her ponytail may have touched the horse, causing it to react.
The horse quickly nipped at Scheana’s arm while she posed for a photo, startling her.
Despite her shock, she nervously laughed and moved away from the horse briskly.
The King’s Guard member on the horse did not react to the incident.
This mishap is not an isolated incident.
Many tourists have ignored the warnings and faced consequences from the King’s Guard horses.
Despite the clear warnings, tourists continue to get dangerously close to these horses, sometimes resulting in severe bites and injuries.
At the same time as Scheana’s incident, another tourist had a worse encounter with a King’s Guard horse.
A video showed a woman in a Pink Floyd T-shirt getting too close to the agitated horse for a photo.
The horse bit her arm, causing her to scream and fall unconscious briefly.
The King’s Guard had to intervene, pointing his sword at a cameraman and asking for help from a police officer.
This year, multiple tourists have been bitten and reportedly knocked down by King’s Guard horses in photos and videos.
Social media reactions
On social media, people have shared their opinions on the matter.
The sign clearly says horse may kick or bite, no one to blame but herself, one user said.
I’m glad the horses give these people a nip. There’s a sign up and horses doing their job, the second user commented.
Even the horse didn’t know who she was, the third user said.
What I find really amusing is how selective those horses are, they seem to be so gentle with disabled children, but bite everyone else, another explained.
Stupid people, there’s a sign clearly saying don’t get too close so what do people do, go close thinking that they’re immune to getting bitten, someone wrote.
