Raw Eggs Leave People Confused
All you literally have to do to make mayo at home is blend egg yolks with a bit of salt, something acidic like vinegar or lemon juice, and a bit of plain oil. But with raw eggs being used, some TikTok users were left confused as they commented on one man’s demonstration video:
“How is it safe when it has raw egg in it?”
The eggs aren’t exactly “cooked” before being added, but they are safe because they should be pasteurized when purchased, which kills harmful food poisoning bacteria.
