Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft vanished from air traffic control radars. As a result, all 239 passengers and crew members were never seen again.

The disappearance remains one of aviation’s greatest mysteries, extensively documented by Netflix and the BBC.

Search for the missing plane

Despite several pieces of wreckage being discovered over the years, the official investigations have failed to conclusively determine the aircraft’s fate.

However, tech expert Ian Wilson has presented a new theory based on his analysis using Google Maps.

Wilson’s research suggests that the aircraft could be located deep within a jungle in Cambodia.

According to Wilson, his measurements of the Google Maps image show an object approximately 69 meters long.

This aligns with the dimensions of a plane.

He noted a gap between the tail and the back of the plane. He believes this gap corresponds with the image he observed.

Wilson remarked, “I spent hours on Google Earth searching for potential crash sites. The location I found is the greenest, darkest part visible.”

In November, a piece of the aircraft’s landing gear door was discovered in Madagascar, more than eight years after the plane went missing.

British engineer Richard Godfrey and American MH370 wreckage hunter Blaine Gibson argue that the damage to this door indicates the aircraft was deliberately crashed.

They believe the gear’s condition suggests the pilot may have extended the landing gear in the final moments of the flight.
