In a viral TikTok video, Taco Bell employee Steven Pauley made an unforgettable exit by cannonballing into a kitchen sink on his final shift.

Steven, a 20-year-old from West Virginia, had recently decided to leave his job to pursue a career in video gaming.

On June 14, Steven asked a coworker to record him as he leapt into a frothy sink full of water. The video shows Steven launching himself into the sink, sending soapy water splashing around the kitchen. Emerging soaked but grinning, he clutched some utensils and walked away drenched.

Steven shared that he didn’t initially plan to jump in the sink. After completing the night shift tasks, he thought, “Why not have some fun at the end?” Although the sink water was usually hot, they added ice to cool it down.

Steven’s stunt drew mixed reactions online. He assured viewers that he had already given his two weeks’ notice and that everything was cleaned up afterward.

He shared: ‘On the last shift, we got everything done and cleaned the store as normal. We finished at 4am, and then we filled up the sink.

‘That water is normally pretty hot, so we had to throw some ice in there. I’m not trying to jump in a burning bath and put my life on the line.

‘I hadn’t started the shift thinking I was going to jump in the sink that night, I just thought “Why not have some fun at the end?” We cleaned up afterwards anyway.
