According to the "Daily Mail" report, on June 18, a submersible under OceanGate Expeditions went to explore the wreck of the Titanic.
However, something went wrong with the submersible and it lost signal with the mothership and the aircraft on land.
According to New York Times, Wendy Rush, the wife of OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, who missing on the vanished Titan submersible, is a descendant of a couple who perished on the Titanic in 1912.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the couple is Isidor and Ida Straus great-great-grandparents of Wendy lost their lives during the sinking of the Titanic.
According to the report, the five passengers on the submersible were quickly identified. The first of these victims was identified as the CEO of OceanGate.
The couple - Isidor and Ida, for the record, are the first-class passengers and two of the wealthiest people on the Titanic first.
According to archived records obtained by the New York Times,

Additionally, Isidore's servant John died on the ship, and his body was never found. Alan, Ada's maid, survived and died in 1949.
According to the report, Wendy Rush married Stockton Rush in 1986. Currently, she serves as Communications Director at OceanGate.
She also conducted 3 expeditions to the Titanic wreck on OceanGate, according to LinkedIn. However, Ms. Rush has yet to comment on this information.
