On social media, the 39-year-old cookbook author, who is among over 100,000 Los Angeles residents forced to evacuate, shared several emotional updates on her Instagram.
On Wednesday, Teigen posted videos from the hotel where she and her family had taken shelter. She captioned one post: “4 kids, 4 dogs, and a bearded dragon walk into a hotel,” as her dogs ran around the room.
Her husband, John Legend, joined her in the hotel, anxiously waiting to learn if the fire had reached their home.

Earlier, Teigen shared a mirror selfie while packing up her belongings. “This is surreal,” she wrote, admitting to feeling scared as she packed for the evacuation.
Teigen expressed her concern for those less fortunate, stating: “We are ok as of right now, and I felt weird saying that with so many people we know and don’t who are not ok.”
