A recently uncovered photograph is being called the “clearest UFO photo ever.”
The image shows a mysterious spaceship being pursued by a fighter jet, sparking significant interest and debate.
On August 4, 1990, two hikers in the Scottish Highlands unknowingly captured what is now hailed as the ‘clearest UFO photo ever taken.’
This photograph, known as the ‘Calvine photo,’ disappeared, becoming a mythical tale for three decades.
A professor found the image after searching 13 years
After 13 years of research, Professor David Clarke from Sheffield Hallam University successfully tracked down the elusive image.
Through his investigation, he connected with ex-RAF press officer Craig Lindsay, who had preserved a copy of the extraordinary picture.
The image shows a saucer-shaped craft being chased by a fighter jet.
This moment, captured in the photo, continues to intrigue and fascinate people today.

In the remarkable image, a significant saucer-shaped craft is clearly visible, with a jet fighter seemingly in pursuit.
The hikers first shared the photograph with the Daily Record newspaper in Scotland.
It later reached the British Ministry of Defence and stayed secret until 2022.
Professor Clarke disclosed that the picture editor at the Daily Record sent the photos to Craig Lindsay, the RAF press officer in Scotland.
This action led to further investigation into the images.
Lindsay then passed the print to the Ministry of Defence in London, who requested the negatives.
However, after the Daily Record sent the negatives to London, they mysteriously vanished.
“The Daily Record’s picture editor at that time sent them to Craig Lindsay, who was the RAF press officer in Scotland.
He passed the print to the Ministry of Defense in London, the Ministry of Defense in London then asked him to obtain the negatives.
He returned to the Daily Record and requested that they send the negatives to London.
They did so, but the negatives then mysteriously disappeared,” Professor Clarke.
Despite the attention the photo garnered, the two hikers have chosen to remain silent about their encounter.
Lindsay, on the other hand, disclosed details of their unsettling experience to Clarke.
A couple took the UFO clearest image during a walk
The duo, working as chefs at a Scottish Highlands hotel, went for an evening walk in Calvine in August 1990.
During their walk, they discovered an enigmatic object hovering above them.
Professor Clarke shared with Newsweek: “They spotted this object in the sky, which frightened them.
Seeking refuge in the woods to avoid detection, they heard a jet swoop down the valley.
Minutes later, it reappeared, circling the object. It was then that they snapped the photos.”
The event witnessed by the pair persists as a mystery to this day, leaving questions unanswered by the unexplained encounter.
