The unusual situation began in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia on Wesnesday (August 29).
The authorities were alerted to a 2020 Range Rover that had rolled into the water.
According to the report, the vehicle was found in the river at approximately 4:27 a.m. local time. Dive crews were deployed to recover the submerged Range Rover.

According to police reports, the couple had parked their vehicle off Kelly Drive and proceeded to engage in intimate activities inside the car.
In an unexpected turn of events, their actions inadvertently shifted the gear stick from park to drive.
A police representative told NBC10 that the couple’s actions led to them accidentally knocking the car’s gearstick out of park. This caused the car to shift into drive.
As a result, this caused the car to roll into the Schuylkill River.
Fortunately, both individuals managed to escape the vehicle before it was completely submerged.

Emergency crews worked to retrieve the car from the river, with operations continuing until around 9:00 a.m.
