The dog was found abandoned in the park wearing an old purple sweater
A group of passersby went to a local park in the city of Cuautitlan, Mexico, and discovered a dog lying sadly on the side of the road.
They immediately went to check its condition.
According to the group, this is not the first case of animals being abandoned here.
Many heartbreaking cases have happened that make them always have to observe to save the poor animals promptly.
The poor condition of the little girl
One of the passersby shared that when they found the dog, it was curled up in an old, tattered sweater.
It seemed that being abandoned made it sad and exhausted as it didn't eat anything for days.
The dog also had a worrying cough, making them concerned the dog had respiratory problems.
The dog was finally rescued by Beatriz Ordaz
The group of people took the dog home to check and take care of it. Beatriz Ordaz named the girl Catalina and took direct care of her.
Ordaz revealed that Catalina was very scared when she first came home. However, the girl quickly opened her heart when she realized Ordaz's sincerity.
Catalina then began a strict treatment regimen. Ordaz and her son treated Catalina with nebulization.
The dog gradually recovered and became more active. However, they have not yet found the girl's family.
Ordaz said she enjoys lying on the couches and interacting with people.
Catalina is a cute dog but was abandoned in the park, causing her to become timid and afraid of everything around her.
The special sweater of Catalina
Catalina's respiratory illness causes her to always wear sweaters to keep her body warm. Catalina also seems to like this sweater very much.
Ordaz regularly washes her sweater and wears it carefully so that Catalina feels comfortable after the trauma she has experienced.
Although no one has asked to adopt Catalina, Ordaz still hopes that the dog will recover quickly during this time. She will continue to raise Catalina whether or not anyone adopts her.
