The curious event took place in Harlow, Essex, and was captured on dash-cam footage, leaving viewers stunned.

On social media, the dash-cam footage shows a middle-aged man in a white bumper car, calmly waiting at a road junction.

He looks left and right before pulling out into the traffic.

Additionally, the vehicle is a fairground dodgem, which is usually confined to the funfair.

Surprised motorist records the remarkable scene.

The footage was recorded at 6 pm on September 19 by a vehicle belonging to HD Property Services.

While, Ben Peters, who provided the dash-cam footage, said he was shocked when he first saw the clip.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes. Is that really a dodgem?” he said.

“I can only assume the driver has modified it to make it road-legal. I’ve never seen anything like this before.”
