A lawsuit against Elon Musk has shed light on a long-standing rumor
The bizarre account, using the username @ErmnMusk ("Elon Test"), was active in late 2022 and early 2023.
This account posted nonsensical messages to tech figures, including asking about "Japanese girls" and wishing it could go to nightclubs.
When a post mentioned the account turning three in May 2023, speculation arose that Musk was roleplaying as his son, X Æ A-12.
Some dismissed it as preposterous, but proving it one way or the other was extremely difficult - until now.
In the lawsuit against Elon Musk, he confirmed that the account 'Elon Test' belongs to him.
This theory has been confirmed. In a recent deposition for the lawsuit, Musk admitted to owning the "test account." The lawsuit, filed by Ben Brody, accuses Musk of defamation.
Defamation lawsuit stems from Neo-Nazi Brawl rumors
Brody alleges Musk amplified posts falsely linking him to a 2023 neo-Nazi brawl in Oregon.
Although Brody was not present in Oregon at the time, he faced harassment and threats due to Musk's alleged involvement.
This prompted him to file a defamation suit against Musk.
Additionally, the lawsuit also alleges that Musk deleted the "Elon Test"
On 27 March this year, Musk was deposed, and it's the transcript of this deposition that confirms that he's admitted to the Elon Test account being his own, even if it's since been deleted.
In fact, the lawsuit also alleges that Musk deleted the account on the same day that it was included in a discovery motion.
Musk denies role in starting lawsuit
The deposition transcript reveals Musk suspects Brody's lawyer is the true instigator, aiming for a financial payout. Musk and his legal team remain silent on the case.
The deposition has garnered negative publicity for both Musk and X. The case's outcome remains to be seen,
However, the bizarre account adds another layer to the ongoing saga.
