According to report, the vehicle, valued at $80,000, was seen in a fiery blaze near the hotel’s revolving doors.

According to Las Vegas police, the explosion occurred at around 9 a.m.

Law enforcement sources have revealed that both cars involved in the attacks were rented through Turo, with both being electric vehicles (EVs), raising concerns about a potential link.

Police announced on Wednesday afternoon that they are investigating possible connections but have not ruled anything out yet.

Sheriff Kevin McMahill commented, ‘Do I think it’s a coincidence? I don’t know. We’re absolutely looking into any connections to New Orleans.’

During a bombshell press conference, officers disclosed that the Cybertruck had been rented from Turo in Colorado and driven across the border into Nevada at 7:30 am on Wednesday.

The explosion occurred just an hour later.

After the incident, Elon Musk later revealed that the explosion was likely caused by a bomb or large fireworks.

He clarified that the explosion was not caused by the vehicle itself. The truck had been rented via Turo, and law enforcement believes the explosion was intentional.

He said: ‘Law enforcement currently believes it was most likely intentional,’ he added.

‘Both this Cybertruck and the F-150 suicide bomb in New Orleans were rented from Turo. Perhaps they are linked in some way.’

Additionally, Musk also suggested that the two attacks might be connected.

Musk addressed the explosion, stating that Tesla’s senior team was investigating the event.

He pointed out that the Cybertruck, with its stainless steel armor, would actually contain the blast better than other vehicles.

Despite the explosion, Musk emphasized that the Cybertruck is not an ideal choice for a car bomb.

The Las Vegas explosion came just hours after a attack in New Orleans.

Both the Cybertruck explosion and a similar incident in New Orleans involved vehicles rented from Turo.

Authorities are investigating whether the two events are related, especially given their proximity in timing.

In Las Vegas, CNN reported that fireworks, gas tanks, and camping fuel were found in the bed of the Cybertruck.

These materials were likely connected to a detonation system controlled by the driver. Surveillance footage showed the truck passing by the hotel an hour before the explosion and returning just moments before it detonated.

A man named Shamsud Din Jabbar drove an electric vehicle into a crowd, killing 15 people and injuring many more.

Authorities are treating both incidents as acts of terrorism and are exploring any potential link between them.

Sheriff Kevin McMahill confirmed that law enforcement is treating the Las Vegas explosion as terrorism.

The FBI has also joined the investigation, and Musk’s team is looking into the incident as well.

Surveillance footage revealed that the Cybertruck was parked outside the Trump Hotel before it exploded.

The blast sent large debris flying, and sparks similar to fireworks could be seen in the smoke.

Fire alarms went off in the building, and large orange flames emerged from the vehicle’s windows.

The explosion left a huge cloud of smoke and raised alarms among tourists and locals. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation, and authorities are trying to determine if the driver intentionally set off the explosives.
