In the latest interview, Elon Musk’s daughter, Vivian Wilson, left viewers stunned after revealing the ‘insane’ class she was required to take at a private SpaceX school.
Elon Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, has once again shared details about her upbringing.
In a candid conversation, she discussed her relationship with her father and the unusual education she received at his private school, Ad Astra.

AD Astra: Elon Musk’s experimental school for gifted children
In 2014, Musk founded Ad Astra, pulling five of his children out of traditional schooling. He believed conventional education was inadequate and sought a new approach.
He hired educator Joshua Dahn to develop the curriculum for a select group of students, including his children and SpaceX employees’ kids.
Ad Astra had several notable differences from regular schools.
This school had no grades, foreign language classes, or music lessons. Additionally, the curriculum focused on problem-solving, science, and technology.
Wilson recently revealed that one of the classes she was required to take was centered around Microsoft Excel.
Learning excel at AD Astra: A bizarre experience
Speaking to Hasan Piker on Twitch, Wilson described her time at Ad Astra as “so stupid.”
During the interview, Wilson told Piker that she was required to take a class on using Microsoft Excel while attending what she described as a “weird school.”
Wilson recalled, “One of our classes was literally just Excel spreadsheets, which was kind of insane, but whatever, I’m good at Excel now.”
Piker was visibly surprised and called the curriculum “lame.” Wilson admitted the Excel class was actually one of the more enjoyable subjects at the school, but only because the overall bar was so low.
She said: “I don’t even know how to describe it it was, like the classes were like fine. They had like four professors so they all taught like a million classes.
“One of our classes was literally just like Excel spreadsheets, which was kind of insane, but whatever, I’m good at Excel now, I guess.”
Additionally, Wilson also expressed disappointment that she was never given the opportunity to learn a foreign language.
She later discovered a love for languages when she switched to a different school.
Elon Musk’s demanding work schedule and family dynamics
During the interview, Piker asked Wilson about Musk’s work habits.
She admitted that she barely remembers seeing him outside of his work.
“He was just yelling at employees in the car while [my siblings and I] all watched, horrified,” she recalled.
Wilson has made it clear that she wants no connection to her billionaire father. Shortly after turning 18, she legally changed her name to remove “Musk.”
In one of her most scathing remarks yet, she called Musk an “insecure little buffoon.”
When asked if she was afraid of him, she scoffed, “He’s a pathetic man-child. Why would I feel scared of him?”
