On X platform, one user shared a photo of a nearly vacant IMAX screening, stating, “Only ONE person bought tickets tonight. This movie’s gonna flop.”

Another user, who goes by @SydneyLWatson, shared a video on X showing a nearly empty cinema, saying they had never seen a Disney movie with so little interest, as only a handful of people attended Snow White screenings.

Criticism over wokeness and casting choices
The film has been accused of pushing a political agenda. The decision to reimagine the Seven Dwarfs as “magical creatures” sparked backlash. Additionally, pre-release comments from stars Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot led to further controversy.
Critics have not been kind. The Mail’s Brian Viner called it a “painfully muddle-headed affair.” He added, “Disney’s attempts to avoid offense have managed to upset everyone.”
A former theater worker provided another perspective. They pointed out that the screenshots were from a 10:15 PM showing, a typically low-traffic time slot. “The busiest time is usually around 7 PM,” they explained.
Despite these arguments, the overall numbers remain weak.
