Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski voiced strong disapproval after the all-female Blue Origin space trip.
She called Blue Origin’s space mission “end time s**t” and questions its purpos.
In a TikTok post, Ratajkowski described the flight as “beyond parody,”
Emily also said that she felt “disgusted” by the spectacle amid Earth’s worsening environmental issues.
She said: ‘That space mission this morning? That’s end time s**t. Like, this is beyond parody.’
She condemned the mission’s narrative, criticizing Blue Origin for branding the flight as being “for Mother Earth” while damaging the planet with costly launches.
‘That you care about Mother Earth and it’s about Mother Earth, and you’re going up in a spaceship that is built and paid for by a company that’s singlehandedly destroying the planet?’ she went on.
Owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Blue Origin sent six women—Katy Perry, Lauren Sánchez, Gayle King, and others—on an 11-minute journey into space.

Ratajkowski wasn’t alone in her criticism. Celebrities Olivia Wilde and Olivia Munn also shared their disappointment with the Blue Origin flight on social media.

Wilde reposted a viral photo of Katy Perry kissing the ground.
She wrote: “Billion dollars bought some good memes, I guess,” mocking the dramatic return.
While, actress Olivia Munn questioned the purpose of the mission on national television.
She called it frivolous in light of global poverty and climate issues.
Additionally, she also compared the launch to a Disneyland ride, criticizing the focus on glam, makeup, and lashes before heading to space.
Munn pointedly asked why those on the trip needed to publicly showcase it instead of quietly enjoying the experience and moving on.
‘What are they doing? Like why? You know what I mean?’ she said. ‘I know that this is probably not the cool thing to say, but there are so many other things that are so important in the world right now.’
Munn then added, ‘What are you going to do up in space? What are you doing up there?’

While, skeptics online questioned what was accomplished during the brief Blue Origin space trip.

King stated that critics “don’t really understand what is happening here,” emphasizing the symbolic importance of representation in space exploration.
Sánchez responded emotionally to the backlash. She said that the thousands of Blue Origin employees who contribute passionately to space missions.
She said, “They put their heart and soul into this vehicle,” and urged critics to learn more about the mission’s deeper impact.
