Banks took to TikTok, a popular social media platform, to share the series of unfortunate events that led to the cancellation of their dream vacation.

The woman was suddenly informed of the off-ship excursion cancellations.

According to Banks, she received an email notifying her of off-ship excursion cancellations, which prompted her to contact the cruise company for clarification.

To her disbelief, she discovered that their $12,000 reservation for the ship's largest and most luxurious room, the Excel Presidential Suite, had been canceled.

The cancellation was made through the online system, but Banks claimed to have no knowledge or involvement in it.

The situation worsened when Banks realized that the entire vacation had already been paid in full.

The family had approximately $15,000 tied up in the trip, including excursions, flights, and expensive room reservations.

Despite her pleas that it was a glitch in the system and that she hadn't canceled the reservation, Carnival Cruise offered her a different room, which Banks considered inadequate.

Moreover, the company refused to issue a refund, citing their cancellation policy that stated no money would be returned within 15 days or less of the cruise date.

Eventually, Banks found out that she and her husband had unintentionally revealed their cruise booking reference number on Facebook while sharing an email screenshot a few weeks earlier.

Without Banks and her husband's knowledge, someone stumbled upon the post, created a Carnival account, and added the booking reference number to their own profile.

This unidentified individual then made the drastic decision to cancel the entire reservation just two days before the cruise was supposed to set sail.

Despite being offered another trip by the company, Banks expressed her disillusionment and stated that she and her family would never use the services of Carnival Cruise again.

The family still went to Miami in the hopes of resolving the situation and boarding the ship, but unfortunately, the vessel sailed off without them.
