Shoppers find ‘rotten’ turkeys on the eve of Chirstmas

On social media, a furious customers are taking to X (formerly Twitter) to express their anger after discovering that their festive turkeys were inedible.

Images of turkeys with grey-colored blotches and foul odors have been posted by several disappointed shoppers.

While another customer, who had purchased a turkey crown from Aldi, found it spoiled just two days before its stated use-by date.

A Tesco shopper also expressed frustration after paying $66 for a “fresh” turkey, which they discovered was “rotten” when preparing it for dinner.

Similarly, Sainsbury’s customers complained that their turkeys were “rancid” and “slimy,” even before the holiday meal preparations began.

Consumers react to unacceptable food quality

Customers are shocked that supermarkets would sell spoiled turkeys so close to Christmas. Many have criticized the stores for offering items that were clearly unfit for consumption.
