Earlier this year, her boyfriend had expressed a desire to return to Texas to live on his family’s farm. Jillian understood that California wasn’t his long-term goal.

The video quickly went viral and sparked debate on social media.

One person said: He made you move and then handed you a note?!?! I thought my ex was bad for leaving me to move back in with his mommy. You win.
A second wrote: Boyfriends aren’t husbands. Don’t build your life around someone who hasn’t actually committed to you.
While a third commented: My ex-bf of 2 years sat me down one night to tell me we have different core values. The core value in question – I don’t like Marvel movies.
Another added: The lesson is clear here. NEVER comprise your talents for someone with lukewarm feelings. Redemption! I hope this blows up and fame becomes you!
Someone else said: Bestie, him saying he wants to move to Texas was him trying to break up the first time. I’m sorry!
Jillian moved forward after heartbreak.
Two months after the breakup, Jillian feels “better,” though “every day is a battle.” She hasn’t heard from her ex since their split, despite her newfound internet fame.
“I would probably take it all back and just want to be with him,” she admitted.
“I see in hindsight that he’s not the best for me. However, I was so happy with my little life with him. This is probably the most success I’ve seen in my career, but it’s just a career,” she reflected.
